What my clients are saying...

The purpose of my email (deserves a written letter but I will never get to it) is to tell you about one of your Advisors – Kerri-Ann Brownlee. I was looking to buy a town house or loft in downtown Toronto, and as six degrees of separation often happens in your industry – two people that I knew suggested I talk to Kerri-Ann Brownlee. I interviewed her as well as two other Advisors from competing firms, one of whom was a distant blood relative. Kerri-Ann Brownlee won the credentials presentation by a wide margin – she was focused, informed, professional and passionate. She handled my questions in an effortless and informed manner.

I made the right decision. I have owned two agencies over the past 30 years, and finding extraordinary talent that combines service, strategy and creativity is our lifeblood and one of our most difficult tasks. In Kerri-Ann Brownlee you have one of those rare individuals. She didn’t dial in my file – by flooding me with a number of options, take me on an endless odyssey of meaningless viewings, or try to extend my price band width. From day one she valued my time, listened generously and focused on solutions not stuff. In this process we found the perfect living space and her relationship skills uncovered
that the sellers were moving to Africa which put me at a buyer’s advantage and gave me the opportunity to acquire much of their furnishings.

The end result is that I am settled in an extraordinary loft because of this extraordinary effort and Kerri –Ann has a raving fan in me that will provide her with glowing unsolicited recommendations to my social network.

Kerri-Ann was a tremendous agent to work with, and really helped me secure my first home after a series of frustrating experiences with other agents. Kerri-Ann was knowledgable, and provided solid recommendations for my search and ultimately helped me secure a great place with minimal stress! I would highly recommend Kerri-Ann to anyone looking to buy a home.

My experience working with Kerri-Ann during the purchase of my first property was excellent. She was organized and knowledgeable and took the time required to really understand what I was looking for. I appreciated that she only took me to view properties that were in my price range, in the neighborhood I wanted to live and had the key elements that I was looking for in my new home. The entire process was easy and convenient.

I’ve recommended Kerri-Ann to friends several times since I made my purchase and would do it again.

I have worked with Kerri-Ann for almost a year now looking for the right place in which to call home. Kerri-Ann has been the most gracious, caring, and understanding agent during this process. I was looking for something that I could feel comfortable in and Kerri-Ann got to my personality and taste in order for me to find the right fit -- not an easy task by any means for an agent. Kerri-Ann showed me many properties and explained what they had to offer, giving me honest feedback as to the true value of each property. Many agents will try to sell you any house, but Kerri-Ann takes the time and effort to get you the right home for you and your family.

Kerri-Ann’s vast knowledge is a valuable asset to any home buyer, as it was to myself. Kerri-Ann worked tirelessly to get me the property I wanted. Her knowledge and experience translated into an effortless and positive home buying experience. I will certainly refer Kerri-Ann to my family and friends.

Thank you Kerri-Ann. My new home is perfect.

Are there naturally born real estate agents?

Naturally born are two words that are often used to describe someone that is wonderful at their craft. She is a naturally born leader; he is a naturally born athlete etc. More often than not these people make extraordinary seem ordinary. Everything seems to be effortless – problems become solutions, an impasse becomes a pass, and everyone around them feeds off of their positive energy.

I was brought up in Ottawa by two parents that were naturally born to real estate. My Mom was a real estate developer who would see opportunity where others saw pitfalls. She looked at the character of a neighborhood rather than 'judging a book by its cover'. She went on to develop award-winning projects and felt that her legacy was contributing to the revitalization of her city. My Dad founded and ran a construction company that built their business on reputation, value for money and repeat business.

It’s not surprising that I ended up in real estate and over the years I have worked hard to perfect my craft. I have gone on to be recognized and awarded the Chairman’s award for sales and service over the years. This isn’t a part time job this is all I do. Over time I have learned how to be a stellar negotiator regardless of the pressure, how to understand the nuances of the marketplace and the art of the deal. Many of the lessons that I’ve learned throughout my career have taught me how to act quickly; understand the needs of my clients and cut through the clutter to deliver the home and the lifestyle they desire. However, if I had to pick one lesson that stands above all it is the art of listening generously to the needs of my clients. Only from that point of view can I help them, whether they are buyers or sellers, make one of the most important decisions of their life, one that affects both their financial and emotional wealth. The right environment, the right location and the ability to afford without fear is what enables my clients to enjoy the positive things in life – happiness, security, social network, and the well being of their family.

I think that many of my clients would consider me a naturally born Realtor and their repeat business and referrals speak as a testimonial to their experience with me. These people are the lifeblood of my practice. If you ever have a need to buy or sell I would be honoured to listen generously and help you find the solution that is right for you. I love what I do and I would love to do it for you.
